I you’re struggling to pack up all the stuff you’ve accumulated over the last 14 weeks we have the perfect solution!  Why not donate any unwanted articles to our RUMMAGE ROOM, for next semester’s students.

 We can take anything ‘un-perishable’ and that includes foodstuffs.  You all know how expensive life in London can be, so all donations will be gratefully received – and to make it an even bigger ‘no brainer’ SU has pledged to donate £5 to the Encompass trust for every bag of rummage that’s donated.   Although technically we’re grateful for anything, we would prefer not to have clothes and shoes as these will have to be passed on to the thrift shop (it’s unlikely that next semester’s students will want your old clothes!) 

The Rummage Room is in SR 302 – just take your stuff directly up there and please write your name on the list so that we can acknowledge your contribution.

If you have something you’d like to leave for a friend who’s coming next semester, please bring it to the Student Life Office and we’ll give you labels to tag it.  Please note that unfortunately we will no longer accept packages for  sororities or fraternities, as it is not in the spirit of  what we are facilitating, plus it’s often difficult to track down the recipients.  But we are still more than happy to keep stuff for your friends as long as it’s well packaged and clearly labeled.
