Dear Summer students,
We welcomed you with joy and more than a little glee in our hearts when you arrived yesterday. We really want you to make the most of our capital city, and are happy to do what we can to help make that happen – hence the field trips, cake bakes, tours and orientation sessions – but we also want you to help us give our capital a bit of a metaphorical hug: seems like she needs it right now. One of the most frequent questions that we get asked is about whether students are automatically covered by insurance on the SU London program. Read on to find out exactly where you stand and the important facts that you need to know…
Did you know that SU London has an Academic Studio and Writing Centre? You can access this resource any time to get support, advice and feedback on your academic skills. Located in SR203, the Academic Studio is a particularly valuable resource to you during the final weeks of the semester when papers are due and finals are approaching!
The regular hours for the Academic Studio are 1-6pm, Monday to Thursday. However, in the lead up to the end of the semester, they will also open on the following days:
- Friday April 19th: 1-6pm
- Friday April 26th: 1-6pm
- Saturday April 27th: 1-6pm
In addition, the Academic Studio will be open on the Monday and Tuesday (April 29th and 30th) of Finals Week from 1-6pm to assist students in the last crunch. For more details on the Academic Studio and how to make an appointment click here.
