Bev Zalcock’s influence

Bev Zalcock, (ETS430, Global Cities and World Cinema) is an important influence on filmmaker Carol Morley’s work. Morley noted it was Bev who mentioned a medieval laughing epidemic, that led to her latest film, The Falling. Starring Maisie Williams (you may know her as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones), and Florence Pugh, the film tells the story of a fainting outbreak at an all girls’ school.
