Find Out Fridays: Being Human/A Festival of the Humanities

*The humanities can be described as the study of how people process and document the human experience.

**The humanities are studies about human culture, such as literature, philosophy, and history.

Every year since 2014 a national festival of the humanities which spans across the whole of the UK comes to town, and this year it takes place from 17-25 November.

Being Human: A Festival of the Humanities covers disciplines from archaeology & art history to language, literature, philosophy and more. It gives us all a chance to engage and to think about our own human experiences and how we fit into the wider context of this globe. The festival is run by the School of Advanced Study, University of London.

Check out a list of upcoming events at various locations throughout the city and be sure to get tickets in advance as it’s a popular event.

Remember, if you’d like to get reimbursed for a ticket, you can do so within your £50 passport experience allowance.

Happy Friday, everyone!
