Syracuse University London has a commitment to fostering a campus that is free from discrimination and celebrates the diversity of its community. As you may all be aware by now, we don’t have any clubs or societies at Faraday House (thus, we have partnered up with UCLU clubs & societies), apart from one which is our SU London Pride group.
SU London PrideĀ is a student group providing resources and support for LGBT+ students, as well as encouraging inclusion and promoting awareness of LGBT+ issues within the broader community at SU London.
A range of cultural and educational activities related to LGBT+ issues are offered throughout the semester and they are open to all students regardless of how they define their gender or sexuality. Please keep an eye out for future events on this blog and our Facebook page.
Another way for you to get involved with the LGBT+ community here in London is to keep an eye on the TimeOut London LGBT page. Here’s just one of the many great articles it offers on the LGBT+ community in London and how you can get involved ‘Nine reasons why London is the best place on Earth to be gay‘.
Have a fun read and know that we are here to support you.
